I know originally summmer practices were to start July 7, 9-12 at the new hs, but! it has been pushed back 2 days to July 9 from 8-12 at the new hs. please be there.

Dont make up lame excuses either just so you dont have to be there. you'll have the rest of the day to do whatever you want.

I hope music's being memorized....

Marching Band Post:

Summer practices start july 7th at the new hs 9-12 in the am. they are supposed to go every monday and wednesday same time same place thru the month of july. it's not on the everettmusic.org yet. So! hope music is being memorized...

All band members and colorguard members schedule for the rest of the year:

Wednesday, May 21: Memorial Day Concert
4:30 full dress rehearsal on stage at EHS
Music: God Bless America, Grand Old Flag, Marches of the Armed Forces, Amber Waves, Jefferson Portrait, Stars and Stripes
For honors credit, this will be 25% of your 4th quarter grade (for all class members)
mandatory for those not in the class also
Monday, May 26: Memorial Day
report to the EHS at 8:30 AM
change into Uni's, and load buses by 9:30(?)
Performance at Glenwood Cemetery at 10am
After Cemetery, load buses for parade in Winthrop, we lead the procession
Parades starts at 1pm
we will be fed!
Wednesday, June 4: Graduation =(
Report to the Stadium at 5
Music: Pomp and Circumstance, all patriotic selections
Black and white dress code

*Little reminder: when wearing uni's-all white undergarments, and appropriate ones. NO ankle socks
*Please take your uniform home if you havent already and have it washed by the 21st. They havent been out since Florida: they could use a cleaning =P

Tenatively: 1st official Marching Band meeting May 28 after school!
